Stories connect the past and present to the future. Our stories and our learning from them honors and respects our ancestors and us. They can awaken future generations to their potential. They model a way to use their stories to release themselves as they connect to their history and to our values. 

Lucknow Open Mic’s session 4 organised by team Havabaazi at Sheroes Hangout, Lucknow yesterday. The session started at 4pm. This time the session was all about Storytelling.


Stories have always been a part of our existence be it the traditional folklores or real life based stories. We have all grown up listening to them or reading them and this is how the idea popped up of reliving these stories in today’s fast paced internet era. The platform is already famous for the uniqueness and the theme ‘Kahaaniya’ surely proves that.


Continuing with the idea of  providing the platform to youngsters and fresh talent ,the session this time also had a lot of enthusiastic storytellers reading their heart out.



Name of the participants : Shreya Awasthi , Sandhya Yadav , Shubham Tripathi , Sagheer ,  Nisha Yadav , Amrita Vishwakarma , Deep Raj Frederick , Anamika , Naaz Fatima Khan , Ritesh Srivastva , Harsh Pandey , Priyanka Shukla and Prasanna.




Shreya’s story was based on love whereas Zareen came up with a horror story. Anamika’s real life story inspired the audience to believe in their mental abilities at any given time to  defy any kind of physical disabilities while Harsh’s story was dedicated to the biggest support of our lives ‘mother’ . 



The session saw power packed performances and took us to different moments leaving the essence of the beauty of stories and the Wonderful art of storytelling.
