A source close to a daily revealed that Akshay is considered as the mascot of socially-relevant cinema and along with Bhumi, he sent out a positive message about personal hygiene in TEPK. Their jodi was loved by everybody and they have now been roped in for a public service ad (PSA) for the Swachh Bharat campaign, which takes forward the message of proper sanitation.

Talking about ‘PadMan’ which also was based on a social issue, the source reportedly added that Akshay Kumar starrer ‘PadMan’ highlighted a serious social issue. The team felt that as Balki treats such topics with sensitivity, he is the best person to direct this ad.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Kesari’. He also the pipeline titled, ‘2.O’ and ‘Housefull 4’.
