After releasing some picture-perfect stills from the film, the makers of ‘Sonchiriya‘ have finally unveiled the first poster. In the poster it is very hard to recognize the actors in their Dacoit Avatar.
Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranveer Shorey and Ashutosh Rana are ready to surprise the audience next year with their film Sonchiriya.
The first poster of which was released on Wednesday.
The tagline of Sonchiriya‘s poster reads “Bairi beimaan, baaghi saavdhan,”
With the first look of Poster the release date of the film was also announced.
It’s February 8, 2019.
To get into the character of dacoit Sushant had apparently spent time with some former dacoits in Chambal before the schedule started in January this year.
He has also lost some muscle weight to look the rustic part as well as learnt rifle-shooting.’

The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles.
Bhumi will play the role of dacoit.

It is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and presents a rooted tale set in Chambal.
Of Bhumi’s preparations for the film a source earlier told
“Bhumi has chosen dusty suburban fields to swanky gyms as her training ground. Her workout regime now includes walking with buckets filled with water on her head under the boiling sun, sweeping and cleaning floors, walking barefoot in dusty fields and lanes, grinding wheat, among other rigorous household chores that rural women in India do.”
The film revolves revolves around the Chambal dacoits and is set in the 70s.
The film has also been shot in Chambal.
