Former Home Minister Mr LK Advani ‘s statement to be filed in CBI court today in regards to Babri Masjid demolition case
In the Babri Demolition Case, 29 statements out of a total of 32 accused have been recorded. The CBI has prepared more than 1000 questions for LK Advani this time.
In the Babri Demolition Case, a special CBI court will recording the statement of former Home Minister Lal Krishna Advani on Friday. Mr Advani will be appearing in court through video conferencing. This statement will be recorded under CRPC 313. Out of a total of 32, statements of 29 accused have been recorded. CBI has prepared more than 1000 questions for Advani.
Earlier on Thursday, BJP veteran Murali Manohar Joshi had recorded the statement through video conferencing from Delhi before the special CBI court. He told the court that he was not present at the time of the incident, claiming that he was innocent. This whole matter is inspired by politics and I have been framed in a fake way. Apart from this, Joshi has also denied the statements of the witnesses by denying all the allegations of CBI.
BJP veteran Murali Manohar Joshi also told the court that the video cassette presented as evidence has been tampered with, while the cassette has been included in the investigation under the scheme. Apart from this, he went to Kalyan Singh Ram Janmabhoomi site after becoming the Chief Minister and he did not repeat his resolve to build the temple there. At the same time, Mr Joshi had also denied the news of the newspapers of that time. He told the court that he will present the evidence of his innocence when the time comes. Let us tell you that the CBI asked 1050 questions to Joshi in the Babri structure demolition case. Yes, the process of recording the statement started from about 11 am till 3:30 pm.
However, so far the statements of 29 accused have been recorded in Babri case. Now only the statements of Lal Krishna Advani and Satish Pradhan are to be made. On July 28, Satish Pradhan’s statement will be through video conferencing. An accused in this case, Omprakash Pandey, has been declared absconding.
