Stop waiting for the things to happen, go out and make them happen.
As we all know that morning walk or jogging is a daily routine of millions of people across the world. Lot of people are seen from so many years who are regularly on a walking track and you will find every age of walkers inside the parks, stadiums, roads or even on the rivers banks. The walking/ jogging enthusiast meets every day in the morning with friends and walk in groups with gossips and laughs. In so many cities they are also having jogger’s organization or morning walkers associations; and they organize Marathons, Cross Country run, Run for Fun etc. from time to time for fitness awareness among the masses. The Government and sports organization also organize lot of marathons like Indra Marathon at Prayagraj, Mumbai Marathon, Lucknow City Half Marathon etc. wherein different ages of persons take part which naturally create the atmosphere of fitness at the organized town. The idea of modern marathon is inspired by the legend Greek messenger Pheidippides who ran from the site of Marathon to Athens, a distance of about 40 kilometres, or nearly 25 miles to deliver the news of important Greek victory over an invading army of Persians in 490 B.C. After making his announcement, the exhausted messenger collapsed and died. To commemorate his dramatic run, the distance of the 1896 Olympic marathon was set at 40 Kilometres which was later on changed to 42.195 Km (26 Miles).
Shri Sanjiv Singh, Commissioner, Income Tax, New Delhi is very enthusiastic runner and use to run approximately 10 to 15 Kms daily and spends lot of time giving tips to the walkers. He always says that morning walk is very much beneficial and each one of us should try to walk as much as much possible in entire day. But due to busy schedule most of us are not able to manage time and leave morning walk, which leads to severe consequences in later phase of our lives. Therefore, it is advisable that a brisk walk in the morning keeps the entire body charged for the day, while walking speed should also be maintained and regularity is very important for the walker. Mr Singh also advised to have a habit of running with a companion so that the regularity shall be maintained and a team mate is always there to keep us motivated. Dr K.D Tripathi, Dr V.M. Sharma and Dr Ashok Tripathi are enthusiastic joggers and they jog everyday at least 10 Kms, they are a leading medical practitioners of Prayagraj city. I have spoken to them and they said it is their regular hobby, running gives them energy it’s an addiction apart from fitness its put them in the positive manner. The persons engaged in the morning activities start their preparations from evening itself they avoid regular parties, go to bed on time, and timely start their day. It is very interesting to see that such a large number of peoples of all ages come out from their houses every morning to meet up their family, friends, and colleagues on the morning walk, meeting in evening is certainly gives you pleasure and keep you more humorous but get together in the morning walk /jog will keep you fit, energetic and charged you for the entire day and also keep you away from the number of un ending diseases hence meeting on morning is more important than to meet up in evening. So try to convince your friends to meet regularly in morning on walking instead on usual dinning or drinking. Everybody know the benefits of walking/jogging it’s a worthless to mention but is always advised to see that what the well-informed person is doing and try to follow their sayings and path. The great Usain Bolt said- “Stop waiting for the things to happen, go out and make them happen”.
