Over the years, the coveted basketball super league has seen some top-class basketball players, and with Govinda and Akash, it will see greater glory this year.

People who have known about basketball as a sport, especially in India, have seen the rise of too many such talented sportspeople who have proved what they stand for in the game and how capable they are of bringing greater glory to India as a nation in basketball.
Govinda Sharma and Akash Kumar are two such excellent examples who have been giving their all to bring India to the forefront of basketball. Hence, for the same, they will be participating in the esteemed 3×3 Thai Basketball Super League 2023. Both are talents from Kaga Basketball Academy, where Govinda Sharma serves as a founder. With the academy, he has always remained determined to help turn ordinary talents into extraordinary basketball players who can further go ahead in bringing recognition for India at such coveted international tournaments.
Akash Kumar has remained India’s former #2 3×3 player and is also a NIS certified coach. He played several tournaments in India and played U-19 Nationals from Delhi. In 2014, he was named the best player in Ghaziabad. He played in many tournaments in Siliguri and other places from Kaga Basketball Academy and even won many. Currently, he is playing on the senior state team of the West Bengal club and working at Kaga Basketball Academy as an Assistant Coach. The youngster is also excited for seeing other esteemed players like Parvesh Bhatia, the former FIBA 3×3 India rank 3. He played for India’s first celebrity teams owned league streetball 3×3 league and also internationally at Sharjah, UAE, securing a silver medal. Pratik Bhadalekar will also be seen at the super league. Currently, he plays for the Senior State Team of Madhya Pradesh. He too played internationally at Sharjah, UAE and secured a silver medal. Besides him, there is Eric Framjee, who in 2022 also played for the Thai Super League under Kaga Basketball Academy. He also participated in Gatorade 3X3 Challenge Malaysia, and won his First Silver International Medal. He was the former #7 rank in FIBA.
Govinda Sharma, who has participated in many international tournaments, has been the former #1 basketball player in India in 3×3 Basketball. He has to his name silver medals at Gatorade 3 on 3 Challenge, Malaysia, in 2022 and at the Kalba Beach Games, Dubai, in 2022.
Participating with Akash Kumar, who is only a 23-year-old promising basketball player at the 3×3 Thai Basketball Super League 2023, they are also looking forward to winning big at this super league.
