Is ISIS trying to set up a ‘terror shop’ in Kashmir-Chats Exposed 

Jammu-Kashmir is facing a situation of unrest since a long time. This state is under the threat of terrorism and the populace of the state is also a part of this unrest since a long time. As all we know this state has stone pelters targeting the Indian Army leads to create the unrest in the state. Meanwhile some chats done on social media has been exposed showing the traits of ISIS holding the place in the state.

Youth found chatting with handlers in Syria and Iraq :

• Hilly area of the country once known for its mesmerizing beauty,
• Now it is known to the world only for the unrest and terror occurring.
• Investigators are trying their best to dig out the foundations of these terror occurring.
• While these searches they have found some social media messages.
• According to them they found youth of Kashmir chatting with the terror handlers.
• These handlers are situated in Iraq and Syria the major places known for terror.
• The problem is not immense as of now.
• It has been found that youth in small pockets are in touch with handlers of the ISIS.
• These investigators have found the problem more deepening in South of Kashmir,
• Sopore in North Kashmir, Prang and Lar in Central Kashmir,
• As well as Reasi, Kishtawar and Doda areas of Jammu region.
• With most of the focus being on the stone pelters, Lashkar-e-Tayiba and the Hizbul Mujahideen,
• Some elements favoring the ISIS may be carrying out their activities.
• In 2014, 2015 and early 2016, there were few stray cases which had been noticed.
• But beginning this year, after a comprehensive monitoring system was placed to track such chats,
• Over a 100 users were found to be conversing with possible handlers in the two foreign countries.
• It also may be recalled that during recent protests, ISIS flags and slogans had been raised.
• These are such incidents raising the brows of the government and the populace of the country.
