Aditi Rao Hydari lashed out at an Indian airline company after a flight from Kullu to Chandigarh was allegedly declared overloaded and passengers’ luggage was offloaded without prior notice.
“incompetent” to “uncool” Air India Staff
In a series of Tweets, the actress left no stone unturned in raising any and every issue she and her co-passengers underwent. From calling the airline staff “incompetent” to “uncool”, the Padmaavat actress surely put her point across which has led to swift action from the indebted company.
Dear Ms. Aditi, pl let us know the flight details for us to get this checked.

Narrating her ordeal and the lack of compliance by the staff she wrote,
“So shameful that a flight of 15 people is deemed overloaded and not a single check-in bag is loaded on to the flight…incompetent @airindiain… there is no one to deal with the mess obviously… pathetic.”
Responding her complaint, Air India’s official Twitter handle replied saying
The furious 31-year-old then went on to inform them of her flight details with yet another complaint,
“Ms. Aditi 9I807 is an Alliance Air flight which is a subsidiary of Air India with separate operations team. We are forwarding the detailed issue to them for immediate necessary action. Will revert once we have an update from them.”
Pl let me also let you know that you have taken excess luggage from all of us 14 people and not bothered to inform us that our baggage has been offloaded… 9I 807 from Kullu to chandigarh… no solutions are being given, we have further flights and we all have commitments… 😡 https://t.co/0KeYrXpJVb

A clearly exasperated Aditi tweeted again saying,
“Of course… wheels within wheels within wheels… …. my boarding card loudly says @airindiain… point is we were not informed and we were the first to check in at an empty airport and we payed excess baggage… horrible!”. Following which, Air India assured the infuriated actress that the Chandigarh team is addressing the matter on priority. The Bhoomi actress, still fuming, slammed the airline yet again saying,
“Not just mine but every passengers! @airindiain There were other passengers who had nneeded assistance… we helped them, we got them their receipts and helped them understand the situation… the airline staff did nothing to inform or help them… uncool but expected sadly”.
Aditi Rao Hydari who was last seen the controversy struck Padmaavat alongside Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone. Even though the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial received much flak from fringe groups, the film sure left a mark at the domestic box office. The actress will next be seen in her second Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film titled Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. This film also features Arvind Swami and Vijay Sethupath.
