Ashwiny Iyer director of popular films “Bareilly Ki Barfi” and “Nil Battey Sannata” is all set to bring out her next Comedy-Drama next year with Alia Bhatt.
Alia’s fourth film with a female director
Alia Bhatt who entered bollywood with ‘Student Of The Year’ in 2012 is ready to do her first film with Ashwiny Iyer.
Alia has done many movies in her 6 years career and from all these movies 3 films are directed by female directors. Ashwiny’s next will be her 4th female directed film.
Before this she has worked with Gauri Shinde in Dear Zindagi , Meghna Gulzar in Raazi , upcoming film ‘Gully Boy’ with Zoya Akhter.
Infact, she also acted as a child artist once in the movie ‘Sangharsh’ back in 1999 which was directed by a female director Tanuja Chandra.

The Nil Battey Sannata director is super excited to work with Alia she admitted that “It’s happening next year. I am very happy and filled with gratitude with the story that I’ll be doing with Alia”.

Alia Bhatt’s recently released film ‘Raazi’ is doing great at Box Office and is being loved by her fans all over the country.
Critics are giving their positive reviews to Alia for her outstanding performance in the movie.
Alia is busy in working for her upcoming project ‘Brahmastra’ which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced under ‘Dharma Production’.
She is paired opposite Ranveer Singh in her next ‘Gully Boy’ which will release on 19 february next year.
