The film which is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, about a Kashmiri spy married to a Pakistani man during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 is scheduled for release on 11 May 2018. She will also be seen in Gully Boy opposite Ranveer Singh, directed by Zoya Akhtar which is a coming-of-age story based on the lives of street rappers in Mumbai and the sci-fi thriller Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
