Amrita Prakash is all set to bid a farewell to Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
In an interview to a leading daily, she stated the reason of leaving the show.

Elaborating on why she is walking out of the show, the actor stated, “Even though it was a cameo,
I agreed to join the show midway, because it was a crucial character.
I was signed up for two months, but the track worked and it was extended.
However, I feel that it’s time to leave the show, because a character should exit when it is at its peak,
instead of withering away after its relevance to the story is over. That’s depressing for any artiste.”

Amrita Prakash never restricted herself
“I have never restricted myself as a TV or film actor. I think such factors limit an artiste.
I am an actor and I want to be a storyteller, I don’t want to be anything more or less than that.
As long as my character takes the story forward, I will tell it with all my heart,” added Amrita.
