Athiya Shetty was last seen in a wedding comedy ‘Mubarakan’, recently she gave her special appearence for a dance song with Badshah for the film ‘Nawabzaade’.

Now she is ready to cast opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui for yet another wedding comedy film.

Wedding Comedy: Motichoor Chaknachoor

According to the reports Nawazuddin said yes to Motichoor Chaknachoor in just 15 Minutes of script reading.

Debamitra will be directing the film, it is the debut film for the director.

Rajesh Bhatia, the producer the film said “humorous story of an unlikely couple that has a lot of situational comedy  playing out between the bride and the groom’s families”.

He added “Nawaz playing the hero makes it all the more exciting.”

Athiya will play the role of a north indian girl.

The film is based on Lucknow city.

Athiya and Nawaz will learn the language of the lucknow city for the film.

Nawazuddin who is playing the role of an antoganist in the TV series Sacred games is busy with many projects.

The shoooting of Motichoor Chaknachoor will start from mid september 2018.

Athiya Shetty is also filming for the film ‘Hope solo’ in which she is playing a Kashmiri Girls and footballer Afsan Ashiq.

Afsan Ashiq is the captain and goalkeeper of Jammu and Kashmir’s Football team.
