Ekta Kapoor confirms KTina with filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa, starring Disha Patani in the lead role.

After the success of Dream Girl, producer Ekta Kapoor confirms yet another outing with filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film is titled KTina, starring Disha Patani in the lead role.

Ekta Kapoor, who is producing the film, took to Instagram to share Disha’s first look from the first day of the film. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “KTINA ka sab ko JAI MATA DI’! (She used to b TINA ab KTINA as K suits her…her Astro said) but yaaaar who wears so many rings???? @dishapatani As never before #favscript #shootbegins”

Disha Patani will be seen playing the role of a superstitious small town Punjabi girl who changes her name from Tina to Ktina because her astrologer asked her so.

Her look and story of the film are inspired from television’s czarina Ekta Kapoor. The film is helmed by Ashima Chibber and written by Raaj Shaandilyaa.

Apart from KTina in her kitty, Disha is also busy with Malang, which is directed by Mohit Suri and co-produced by Luv Films and T-Series.

The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu. It is scheduled to be released on 14 February 2020.
