Today Ekta Kapoor turned 43 but she is not going to celebrate her birthday bash as she is going to visit Triupati as always.
Ekta Kapoor revealed her birthday plan;
Birthday girl Ekta Kapoor is currently riding high on the success of her recent release Veere Di Wedding.
While celebrations have been galore for the ace filmmaker, Ekta Kapoor chooses to visit Tirupati on her birthday instead of opting for the conventional celebrations.
The Veere Di Wedding producer took to Twitter to share, “No party for tom! As always I’ll travel to Tirupati today alone n bring in my bday in front of d almighty! Come back for dinner with family tom! I get terribly reflective on bdays!”
As we all know Ekta Kapoor is a strong believer and always seeks the blessings of almighty before every auspicious occasion.
Even before the release of Veere DI Wedding she went Ajmer Sharif to take the blessings and pray for good fortune of the film.
After revealing her birthday plans, she also shared her joy of breaking the myth that women oriented films can’t open with big numbers at the box-office.
Her tweet read,
“We were gonna break even at 23 cr n We did 36 in d weekend! #VeereDiWedding weekday trends r shocking too since it’s an A film! Its radical n has had its share of brickbats! but d love is far outnumbered!”

Smriti Irani, who is best-remembered to play Tulsi in Ekta’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, posted picture of the producer with the caption,
“Happy Birthday to a #loving aunt #dedicated #daughter #caring #friend may you go from strength to strength #god bless.”
Smriti Irani is one of Ekta’s closest friends from the industry. She joined politics in 2003 and in 2014, she was inducted in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s union cabinet.
Shabbir Ahluwalia, who debuted in the industry with Ekta Kapoor’s Kahiin To Hoga, now features as a lead hero in her show Kumkum Bhagya. “Happy Birthday @ektaravikapoor have a blockbuster year! Wishing only the best for you,” he posted
Divyanka Tripathi, who currently features in Ekta’s show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, shared a picture of herself with husband Vivek Dahiya and her ‘Wonder Woman.’ Divyanka married her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star Vivek in July last year.
Meanwhile, a few hours ago, Ekta Kapoor revealed that she has already got her ‘best birthday gift.’
