Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will be the part of Gala this year. She will be attending a charity gala organised by the Women’s India Association in London as the brand ambassador of their empowerment program. Sonakshi Sinha heads to UK for charity gala supporting women’s rights.
Sonakshi took time off from her on-camera duties:
Presently she is busy in filming her upcoming film ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’. Sonakshi Sinha is also preparing for her another film ‘Kalank’. Sonakshi is highly excited for Karan Johar’s typical filmy drama ‘Kalank’. According to sources Sonakshi took time off from her on-camera duties to lend her support to a cause she holds dear – women and children’s empowerment.

This Charity will be held on Friday evening at Grosvenor House Hotel, London. During media interaction Sonakshi said, “WIA is one of the oldest Indian charitable organisations in the UK which is completely dedicated in its commitment to empowering women and children through education, rehabilitation, life skills and social welfare.”
“I feel honoured to be part of the gala this year and help them raise funds for their ongoing effort to reconstruct the place of women and children in our society,” she added.
Sources revealed, “When this opportunity came her way, she knew it’s something she wanted to pursue given how legitimate their efforts were towards women and children’s initiatives. So she decided to make time for the gala.”
Sonakshi Sinha will be next seen in Karan Johar’s ambitious drama, Kalank. She is also busy in shooting for her upcoming comedy drama ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’. This film is the sequel of the film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’. ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ was a romantic comedy and Ali Fazal, Abhay Deol and Diana Penty was in lead roles in this film. This film was also starring Piyush Misra and Amresh Puri.
