Kapil Sharma is ready to strike back.
His much-loved The Kapil Sharma Show makes its grand re-entry Sony Entertainment on 25 November.
“That’s the tentative date to resume the show,” informs a source close to the development.
“We are all working towards a 25 November start.
We want it to be a Diwali gift for Kapil’s fans. However, if we don’t meet the 25 November deadline, we will start on 11 December for sure,” says a source close to the team.
Kapil, we are told, has given up meat and alcohol for the show.
Here is what we can expect in the newly-revamped Kapil Sharma Show: fresher wittier more quick-witted jokes and skits, as Kapil is bringing on board an entirely new battery of writers.

December 12 is the wedding date locked for Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath.
However, before saying ‘Yes, I Do’, Kapil’s life partner wanted him to quit alcohol.
“Ginni had promised to consider marriage only after Kapil cleaned up his act.
Now, he is completely off alcohol,” a source reportedly told a leading daily.
The couple will wed on 12 December in Jalandhar.
The wedding preparations are going on in full swing.
“It will be a four-day long, big, fat Punjabi wedding for which his friends from the film industry will be flying down to Punjab. He will be hosting a party in Mumbai later,” the friend told the Mumbai tabloid.
Kapil went through rough phase in life.
He went into depression and got addicted to alcohol.
He underwent treatment in a rehab and now he is back with full energy and positivity.
Lately, the ace comedian has gained few kilos but he is in the process to lose it.
Kapil Sharma introduced his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on social media in March last year.
