Karan Johar might be all excited for the release of his upcoming independent film Lust Stories.

But Karan simply said

‘Hamari aukat nahi hai’ to compete with Salman Khan and a franchise film like Race 3.

when the producer and director was asked

whether his film has the power to outshine the Salman Khan starrer Race 3.

One of the most awaited films of 2018 is the upcoming Actor Salman Khan starrer Race 3

which also stars big names like Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and others.

no other big actor or star will dare release their film

It is very safe to say that no other big actor or star will dare release their film with that of Salman’s

if they wish to do any business at the box-office.

But did you know that there is a Karan Johar film which will release on the same day as Race 3?

Don’t laugh at Karan yet, his film – Lust Stories – will not see a theatrical release hut will be released on a prominent online streaming service instead.

However, in a press conference last month, when the Dharma Productions chief was asked if his film will have the legs to outshine Race 3, the was completely startled.

The producer director said candidly.

Producer of the film said; “You’re serious! Was that a serious question, sir?

Of course not! Salman Khan is on a different platform.

He is the master of mainstream cinema. Race 3 is going to be a humongous film.

It is a totally different film with a totally different syntax.

We are not competing or fighting…

Humari aukat hi nahi hai to fight with Salman Khan or Race 3,”

He further added

And Karan Johar also added and didn’t stop there,

he went to say they are just four filmmakers who were happy to have made the small and independent film

and were thankful to the online streaming service for picking it up and giving it a platform.

“We are not competing with anyone.

We don’t have the right to compete with the magnitude of Salman Khan.

I mean, I would probably be going to see Race 3 on June 15

and not Lust Stories,” the Dharma Productions head concluded.

Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibarkar Banerjee.
