Bollywood’s most beautiful, multi talent and now a Mum Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed the reason why she chose to comeback with a multi starrer film. Kareena Kapoor is back on big screen after a gap and again she is looking as sexy as before. Kareena, who took a small break from films in 2016 during her pregnancy, was back on sets months after giving birth to baby boy Taimur. Coming back with “Veere Di Wedding”:
The actor started filming “Veere Di Wedding” in September last year, the trailer of which was released on 8 May. In an interview she said, “I wasn’t pregnant when I signed this film. I am lucky to have a husband who is so understanding. Apart from him, producer Rhea Kapoor, stood by me. I had to call Rhea and tell her ‘I am pregnant and she needs to take someone else’.
Kareena Kapoor Khan can get an author-backed role very easily but she chose a multi starrer film ‘Veere Di Wedding’ for a more impactful comeback. During the promotions of her next film ‘Veere The Wedding’, Kareena talked about her comeback with this film and the reasons behind it. She said, “That’s one of the reasons I did the movie. It’s young and fresh. I could have come back in an author-backed role, playing a titular character. But I chose not to. I just had a baby, and I wanted to do something that’s young and the language for which is different.”
In some press conference Kareena was asked about her health and maintaining her weight after pregnancy. She replied, “I have always been very fitness conscious. Everyone is saying I have lost weight so fast, but I have taken a year and a half. It has happened over time. It’s not for the movies, but just for me. Like I always say, feed me karela for lunch and dinner and I am happy. Also, you have to find joy in smaller things in life, not just success. I am happiest when I am having coffee or a glass of wine with a friend and chatting.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next film ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is coming in theaters on 1 June. “Veere di Wedding”, also starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.
