While all Salman and PeeCee fans were excited to watch this pair together on the silver screen, the desi girl walked out of the project at the last moment due to her marriage plans, which is scheduled to happen in October.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed her exit and later tweeted that he is hunting for the female lead.
He tweeted, “Yes yes yes … we will announce the leading lady of Bharat soon.. We have been shooting Non stop and the simultaneously preparing for international schedules”.

And now, the filmmaker has found his lead actress and its none another than tigress Katrina Kaif.
Ali confirmed the news and said, “I am extremely excited to work with Katrina and Salman again.
We have had exciting collaborations in the past.
Katrina got on board in the ‘Nick’ of time for this project.” Ali and Katrina have previously worked together in Tiger Zinda Hai and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and share a great bond with each other.
With Kat coming on board, all the Bhai fans will definitely dance with joy as they love to see Salman and Katrina together on the canvas.
Talking about Bharat, the film also stars Disha Patani and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.
It is an official adaptation of the South Korean movie – Ode To My Father.
The Korean film depicted the history of the country from the 1950s to present-day through the life of a man. Salman and Katrina will spot 5 different looks in the film, which will showcase their journey from 18 to 60.
