Singer Lucky Ali Dedicates His Performance To His Father Mehmood at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022
Singer Lucky Ali, who performed a magical musical segment at DPIFF Awards 2022, paid an homage to his father, late actor Mehmood Ali.
Mehmood Ali’s second child, Lucky Ali is a noted singer and composer who has also appeared in films.
Lucky Ali was interacting prior to his performance at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 and dedicated his performance to his father.
He said, “I am feeling honored being here and performing. But I would accept this as a respect to my father, Mehmood Ali, who was part of this industry. You know, he was among people who kind of built the industry and Dadasaheb Phalke is the most prestigious awards in India”
Mehmood was one of the most respected and loved entertainers in the Indian film fraternity. A performer of such caliber that leading men back in the day used to reject films because their presence used to diminish in films if they starred with Mehmood.
Lucky Ali took the internet by storm with an Impromptu Gig with a bunch of musicians and audience. Talking about the video and his project, he added, “It wasn’t intentional, it does so happen sometimes, but we are releasing a video song very soon”
Lucky Ali released his last album, Raasta Man in 2011, which had 11 songs.
