After Mukkabaaz, Anurag Kashyap is once again collaborating with Aanand L Rai for his next movie Manmarziyan.
After multiple changes in its cast and director, the film has finally gone on floors.
The initial cast of the film included Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushamann Khurrana. Malayalam film-star Dulquer Salmaan was also set to make his Bollywood debut with the movie. However, he was later replaced with Abhishek Bachchan. Also, before Anurag Kashyap, first Sameer Sharma and then Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary were said to be directing Manmarziyan. According to reports, Sameer Sharma shot few portions of the film, but, Aanand L Rai wasn’t happy with it and decided to stop shooting. He then approached Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for the film but that didn’t work out as well due to her prior commitments.

The film stars now stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan.
Taapsee Pannu’s performances in films like Pink, Baby and Naam Shabana have already made her a popular name in the industry. She also proved her versatility as an actress with Judwaa 2 and Dil Juunglee, movies which are regarded commercial flicks. And now, Taapsee Pannu is spotted looking like a complete ‘Sohni Kudi’ on the sets of Anurag Kashyap and Aaanad L Rai’s highly awaited film titled ‘Manmarziyan’.

Taapsee is looking extremely pretty in the classic Patiala salwar. With Manmarziyan, she will be working with Anurag Kashyap and Anand L Rai for the first time in her career. In an interview with a leading daily, Taapsee spoke about the experience of working with the two renowned filmmakers “It is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Aanand L. Rai and Anurag Kashyap” she said.
