Monica Gill was recently spotted at an event for the store launch of Gitanjali Jewels on Friday in Mumbai. Punjabi actress and model Monica Gill is all set to debut in Bollywood along with Kapil Sharma in ‘Firangi’. While having an interaction with the media, she expresses her views that she is quite excited to debut in Hindi cinema with film like ‘Firangi’.
Talking about her Hindi cinema debut, Monica said, “When you get an opportunity to grow then it’s always nerve-wracking but it’s still very exciting and I am quite excited to debut to debut in Hindi cinema with film like ‘Firangi’ and also excited to see how audience react to our film.”
She also confessed about her experience working with her co-actor that,”Working with Kapil Sharma was amazing. He is also the producer of the film. He treated everyone on the sets like family. My family, his family, Rajiv’s (director) family and Ishita’s (co-actress) family were always there on the sets and we had very good jovial environment on set and he is nice guy and we all treated very well”.
‘Firangi’ was earlier scheduled to release on 24 November but makers of the film decided to postpone it by one week, talking about it, Monica said, “There were no problem per say regarding the release date of the film. We thought that December 1st would be more conducive to wider audience therefore we shifted and overall we are excited as we have another week to promote the film so we are looking forward to meeting everyone and interact with audience”.
Talking about her fondness to jewelry, Monica said, “I am really fond of jewelry as I am a girl and here at Gitanjali jewels, each piece of jewelry is quite exquisite. My mother and sister like to wear delicate chains and necklace so that’s definitely something I would like to pick form here”.
While further interacting, she was asked about which actor she would like to work up next, to which she replied” I am not bias. I would love to work with everyone. It will be exciting to see what Hindi cinema has to offer me and I am looking forward to it”.

Monica has won Miss India Worldwide 2014 on 21 June 2014.She is also Miss India USA winner on 26 November 2013 while serving as Miss India New England.
In 2015, she participated in MTV India show India’s Next Top Model. She made Punjabi Cinema debut in 2016 Tips film Ambarsariya.
She has worked as a clinical affairs associate in England for Ocular Therapeutix, a biotechnology and pharmaceutical company. She is a fitness freak and follows a proper workout and diet routine. She was also the youngest member of World Sikh Council.
Monica Gill will be seen in her upcoming film “Firangi” along with Kapil Sharma and Ishita Dutta.
