Southern cinema star Prabhas, who received global stardom following the massive success of the Baahubali franchise, can’t seem to stay away from big budget films. This time the actor is starring in a spy thriller, directed by Sujeeth called Saaho.
According to reports, the film, which also stars Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor has a production budget of Rs 300 crore.

Prabhas, who has been shooting for the film in Dubai, recently shot a chase sequence in the Arab city which incidentally consumed one-third of the films budget – Rs 90 crore, as reported by India Today.

The Saaho team has been station in Dubai for a while and according to reports will continue to shoot there for another month or so. The team has also been joined by Hollywood’s action choreographer Kenny Bates and other action directors, from both Bollywood and down south.

This film will mark the debut of Shraddha Kapoor in southern films and will also see actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is set to play the main antagonist in Saaho. Meanwhile, German model-turned-actressactress Evelyn Sharma, who had first appeared in Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani opposite Ranbir Kapoor, has also joined the cast of Saaho.
