Puja Banerjee: We will not get married before 2019 

As Puja Banerjee got engaged to her longtime boyfriend and actor Kunal Verma on August 16, last year, in Mumbai.

Puja and Kunal have been in a relationship for more than nine years.

The couple met on the sets of Star Plus’ Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna.

In a conversation with Media, when asked about marriage being on cards, she said, “Right now, I am occupied with work and both of us are concentrating on our careers. We got engaged a year ago and will not get married before 2019.”

Meanwhile, Puja’s fiance, Kunal, was invited on the show to  peak about Puja. The actor was reportedly miffed for being invited not for himself but for his fiancee and had expressed his annoyance on the show.

Talking about an incident, she told Media House,  “It was a personal thing that Kunal was talking about in the show. It was not related to the people in his life, including me or any member of his family. Every person is different. We all have positive and negative qualities. The best part about him is that he’s honest enough to accept his faults and change himself, when needed. I have no complaints regarding this.”

Talking of their engagement ceremony, it was a star-studded affair.

Their guests included popular names like Anita Hassanandani, Adaa Khan, Bharti Singh, Shashank Vyas, Raj Singh Arora and Pooja Gor.
