The actor launched the trailer of Race 3 yesterday in Mumbai and within a short period of time, the trailer is trending on number one spot on YouTube and crossed Six million hits!
Salman Khan along with entire ensemble which includes Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and filmmaker Remo Dsouza launched the trailer yesterday in Mumbai.
The trailer which is total badass has crossed six million hits upon its release and still trending on number one!
While director Remo D’Souza confessed that there was immense pressure on him to take the action franchise forward, leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez, expressed that she owes everything to Salman since their film Kick proved to be a major turning point for her.
The trailer starts with Salman Khan’s character, Sikander, staring down at a city from a roof-top. Followed by high-octane action on bikes and even a chopper, with bullets flying all over, Race 3 seems set in the backdrop of a middle eastern city.
The trailer ends with Salman holding a new-age bazooka and blowing everything up in smokes! All in all, the high octane family crime drama is a firecracker for sure!
The audience who had been waiting for the trailer ever since the film’s announcement finally had a glimpse of the high octane action drama which will be released in 3D.
The trailer launch, which was attended by the entire star cast, turned out to be a gala as the stars looked excited about the film’s trailer.
Salman was joined by director Remo D’Souza, Salman, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Freddy Daruwala and producer Ramesh Taurani for the trailer launch in Mumbai.
Talking about the trailer Anil said, “I saw the trailer for the first time in 3D and I was completely numb,” to which Salman instantly replied, “This is the reason why we delayed the trailer and ended up showing you guys the trailers of the previous instalments.”
Director Remo too pitched in thanking the entire cast. He said, “It was a huge task but I had a very good team to pull this off.”
Jacqueline was quizzed about her action sequences in the film to which she responded, “This is the first time I’ve gone all out for this action film. We have a cat-fight too in the movie, which was one of the hardest fights in the film.”
Talking about the particular fight sequence with Jackie, Daisy said, “I had my ankle fractured a month back before shooting for the catfight sequence.”
Saqib took the mic to express his joy of being a part of the ‘Race’ family. He said, “I am just very happy that I am a part of such a big franchise and work alongside such experienced actors.”
Bobby also took the mic to thank Salman for having faith in him. He said, “Mamu (Salman) is my angel. He is someone who believed in me.”
Salman was even quizzed about if he had seen the previous instalments of the ‘Race’ franchise to which he replied, “I have not watched Race 1 and 2 but I knew the format so we just had to make some changes and add a bit of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ to it.” He further added, “This film is like the ones Mr Bachchan and Dharamji used to do ages ago. You come watch, enjoy and go back home.”
Jacqueline too opened up on collaborating with Salman once again. She said, “I owe Salman a lot, I owe everything. Our film ‘Kick’ was a turning point for me and ‘ Race 3’ will also be the same.”
Talking about the vast star cast in the film Salman said, “We have not gone on the star value but on the characters, so everyone is treated equally in the film.”
All the actors looked to be in a happy mood as their film’s trailer finally launched after a long wait.

Race 3 is the most ambitious Bollywood film of recent times.
While the budget of the film is said to be whopping Rs 120 crore, the value of its satellite and digital rights are projected to be worth Rs 150 crore.
If the deal goes through then Race 3 will become the costliest Bollywood film ever for broadcasters.
The film hits the silver-screens on 15th June 2018 and the hit-jodi of Salman and Jacqueline looks adamant to break records at the box office.
