Veteran actor Raj Kishore, who played the role of one of the prisoners in iconic film Sholay, passed away at 85. He reportedly suffered a heart attack early morning. As per a report of reputed news agency, the last rites of the actor were performed today at Aarey Crematorium in Mumbai. The talented actor featured in many popular films of 60s, 70s and 80s.

He shared the screen space with almost all the renowned actors of Hindi cinema.
Besides Sholay, he also worked in films like Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Karan Arjun, Bombay To Goa, Patanga, Karishma Kudrat Kaa and many more.
Sholay is one of the classics of Hindi cinema. The movie featured Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Dharmendra in pivotal roles. Raj Kishore played the role of a prisoner in the film and it is still etched strongly in memory of cinema lovers.
