Director’s Kut Productions is a television production company based in Mumbai.
It produces television shows for various channels like Star Plus, Colors TV, Sony TV and Life OK.
Rumours are raising that this project will be a contemporary version of popular TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai is a is a Hindi language television Drama It premiered on January 12, 2009 on Star Plus.
The show focuses on the daily life of an Udaipur-based Rajesthani family.
Rajan Shahi of Director’s Kut Productions produced this TV series.
And, is the third longest running Indian Television Series based on episode count.
The show’s lead characters are Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik (Mohsin Khan) .
The series initially focused on Naira’s parents Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Karan Mehra).
This Digital Series Would Focus On Urban Families
The reports said that the project will be helmed under Rajan Shahi’s production house.
Rajan will collaborate with the newly launched media firm Applause Entertainment.
The project would focus on urban families and the character’s realization of relationship.
A source told the media “It would deal with different generations, their equations and dynamic.”
