Rajinikanth’s Kaala Karikalan was earlier slated for an April 27 release but a couple of days ago it was reported that the film will be pushed owing to the ongoing ban by Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC). Now according to a report doing the rounds of trade circles, Kaala Karikalan will be clashing with Salman Khan’s Race 3 this Eid.

Rajinikanth’s much awaited Kaala Karikaalan which was slated for an April 27 release, which is celebrated as Tamil New Year has now been postponed due to Tamil film industry strike. The ban by Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) is due to high rates being charged by digital distribution companies. Which means there won’t be any big-ticket film to milk such a big holiday.
