As part of his role as the brand ambassador for Swtizerland tourism, Ranveer put on a Freddie Mercury costume, complete with thick layer of gel in his hair and a moustache. He then broke into an impression of him in front of he singer’s bronze statue at Montreux Riviera. And his mannerisms are indeed quite similar to the singer’s.

Ranveer also visited the Freddie Mercury museum on his tour and saw the place where Freddie stood when he recorded his last song and his handwritten lyrics to a song. Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara to Indian parents from Gujarat.
