Why did Richa Chaddha avoided giving message on Independence Day? 

Pulkit Samrat, Mrigdeep Lamba, Varun Sharma, Ritesh Sidhwani, Manjot Snigh and Richa Chadda attended teaser launch of their upcoming film Fukrey Returns on Tuesday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Richa Chaddha avoided giving message on Independence Day.

Risky to give message

• When the actress was asked to give a message to her fans for upcoming Independence day, Richa Chaddha said,
• “Nowadays it has become very risky to give messages, People keep saying something or the other,
• so its best i’ll just wish everyone. Happy Independence day to everyone.”
• When asked maker of Fukrey 2 why it has took 3 long years to come up with second part, Mrigdeep said,
• “We took 3 years because audience should like it. If we would have sequel just for the sake of it then audience would have criticized us.
• We have took enough time to make it and we made sure that it’s better than the first.”
• Pulkit Samrat added about equation among actors, “We all thought that it will be difficult but once we met it was all same.”
• There were rumors that Excel Entertainment will be producing biopic on former Indian
• crickets Kapil Dev and Bishan Singh Bedi but Ritesh dismissed all the conjecture.
• The story of this film shows that when Bholi (Played by Richa Chadda)
• goes to jail, what happens with the four other characters.
• Richa will be seen in future projects like ‘Aur Devdas’ by Sudhir Mishra, ‘Cabaret’
• by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and ‘Love Sonia’ by Tabrez Noorani in 2017.
• Fukrey 2 also stars Ali Fazal, Vishakha Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, Priya Anand in lead roles.
• It is directed by Mrigdeep Lamba and produced by Excel Entertainment. It is releasing on 8 December.
