Mulk Poster starring Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles is out today. Taapsee Pannu will play the role of lawyer.

Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu are going to share screen for the first time.

It seems they are all set as their movie poster is out today.

The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha,

and is shot extensively in Benaras and Lucknow.

Recently, the actors and the makers dropped two new posters of the film on their social media handles.

Rishi to play the role of accused;

In the first poster, we can see Rishi Kapoor sitting in a courtroom,

with an intense look on his face.

The name of his character is Murad Ali Mohammed, and from the poster,

we come to know that he is essaying the role of an accused in the film.

Taapsee Pannu shared the look;

In the second poster, a determined Taapsee Pannu is seen dressed as a lawyer,

and she too is standing in a courtroom.

Her name in the film is Aarti Mohammed, and she is playing the role of a defence lawyer for Rishi’s character.

Rishi Kapoor tweeted;

Anubhav also shared the poster writing ‘Kiska Mulk hai yeh’

According to earlier reports, Kapoor’s character is wrongly accused of terrorism due to his religion, and Taapsee, who happens to be from the same family, comes to his rescue.

The film will also star Raj Babbar’s son, Prateik Babbar,

but he has not made an appearance in the posters yet.

Rishi Kapoor was last seen in 102 Not Out, alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
On the other hand, Taapsee will be seen in the upcoming film titled Soorma, opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
Soorma is a biopic of Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh.
She will also be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan,
and in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla.

The teaser of Mulk will be released by the makers tomorrow.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on August 3, 2018.
