Last year Ajay Devgan shared the first poster of historical drama ‘Taanaji’ and now the buzz is that he want to rope his own wife Kajol for the role of Taanaji’s wife.
As we all know Ajay Devgan is making a movie on ‘Subedar Taanaji Malusare’.
Last year he shared the poster of ‘The Unsung warrior’ with a caption,

Taanaji- The unsung warrior is fully based on war.
The movie will be based on the war of Sinhagad.
But the team of Taanaji has decided to focus on the relationship between him and his wife.
Ajay Devgan is producing as well as starring in the movie.
The director of the film is Om Raut.
The movie will be based on the period Drama.
Approximately more than 150 crore will be spend on the movie.
Taanaji is going to have high visual effects to recreat the period of that Era.
Kajol suits best to play Taanaji’s wife role;
Talking about the lead actress who will be playing the role of Taanaji.
The buzz is that the director is considering to rope Kajol.
According to sources,””It’s likely that Kajol will play the female lead opposite Ajay in the movie.
If she gives her nod, she will essay the role of Taanaji’s wife.
Although essentially it’s a war film, it also focuses on the relationship between the Maratha warrior and his wife.”
“Kajol’s Marathi dialect is perfect and the role suits her.
When she heard the part, she was excited about it,” says our source adding,
“The mapping, layout, paperwork, designing and planning are happening right now.
The makers have locked some locations outside Mumbai and have even started building the sets,” the source added.
Well we would like to see the real couple on screen once again.
Other than Taanaji Ajay will be doing the biopic of Chanakya.

Taanaji is scheduled to release in 2019.
