According to the reports, two boys of age 14 (8th standard) and 13 (6th standard) ran away from their respective homes in Rajasthan to meet Dilip and were later found by Mumbai Police (Powai).
They are cousins and were desperate to meet Dilip aka Jethalal. If reports are to be believed then they covered the distance in a bus.
After alighting, they were found asking for the details of Dilip’s house. This kind of raised some suspicion among the onlookers who finally informed the police.
Soon they were sent back to their hometown with their guardians. To discourage something similar happening in future, their wish was not fulfilled.
Sharing his thoughts, Dilip said, “It is scary to hear that the kids ran away from their homes all alone and travelled all the way to Mumbai. I am honoured to receive adulation and love from our fans, but running away from home to meet your favourite actor is neither appropriate nor safe.
They were lucky that some good samaritan took them to the police.
They could have easily fallen prey to criminals looking for young unsupervised children.
This Reason made Actor Manoj Bajpayee damn excited!
I would request them and all my young fans to stay under their parent’s care and not indulge into wrong activities. I would like to send my best wishes and love to both of them.”
The producer of the show, Asit Kumarr Modi further added, “It is overwhelming to receive so much of love from our young fans.
However, I would request all our fans not to take such a step as we believe in principles and discipline of life, which is also constantly reflected and promoted through our show. I pray that they have reached home safely.”
