This year 2018, IIFA is scheduled to take place at Bangkok, Thailand on 22 June. It will witness an incredible performances of the bollywood celebrities including Varun Dhawan.
Mix Multiple Dance Forms
Varun Dhawan is currently busy in shooting for ‘Kalank’.
According to a source “The shooting schedule for Kalank is hectic and he needs to attain a beefed-up physique”.
Sources further aaded “in spite of Kalank’s shoot, he will start practicing for IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) soon. He has a flair for dance, so he will mix multiple forms for his act”.
One source told the media that Varun is going to perform on the songs of his movie ABCD2 in the first part of his performance.
Varun will perform hip-hop, Krumpling on the songs of ABCD2.
While in the second part he will perform on the bollywood mashup which includes the songs like- Sau Tarah ke, Aa Toh Sahi and Tan Tana Tan.
He has already started practicing for Guru Randhawa’s superhit song ‘High Rated Gabru’ which is the climax song of his overall performance.
Rekha Ji Will Take To The Stage After 20 Years:
Varun told a media house “I am kicked about Bobby Deol’s performance on songs of Gupt (1997) and Soldier (1998)”.
He also said “Rekha ji will take to the stage after 20 years. I know a bit about her act and we are all excited about it. I will do a live act with the audience at a market place. It will be something that I have never done before”.
Varun admitted by saying “Looking effortless will be difficult. Also, live acts are physically demanding, so keeping the momentum intact will be a tough feat. We will use technology in my act, which requires persistent preparation.”
