The 2016 mini TV series and web series The Trip which was liked and was praised by the audience,  is back with its season 2 and this time its shoot location is different.

Road Trip To Pondicherry: Season 2 

The Trip reminded the audience of their friends.

It was based on friendship, commitments and lot more.

The Trip starred Mallika Dua, Sapna Pabbi, Lisa Haydon and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles.

It begins with the when Ananya (Shweta Tripathi) tells her friends (Mallika Dua, Sapna Pabbi, Lisa Haydon) about her marraige date, and than they all decide to go on a road trip to Bangkok for celebrating her bachelorette party.

The Trip was distributed by Bindass on Television, and was also available online as a web series.

Shweta Tripathi as Ananya, Lisa Haydon as Shonali, Mallika Dua as Nazia and Sapna Pabbi as Sanjana.

In the second season we will see new faces.

Actress Amyra Dustur will join the starcast of first season.

The shooting of season 2 will kickstart from today.

This time, the destination  for the road-trip is Pondicherry.

The story of season 2 will begin from a year and a half away from the first season.

Mallika Dua shared a picture informing her fans about the season 2 of The Trip.

She wrote “Let’s do this Shweta Tripathi, Sapna Pabbi , Amyra Dustur and Sonam Nair. Miss miss miss you didi Lisa Haydon.”

It seems that Lisa Haydon is not a part of season 2, her presence will be missed.

Sonam Nair is the director of season 2.

This season 2 will definately mark more fun more drama and double laughs.
