Assam baby boy with respiratory problem brought to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi for treatment
GUWAHATI: Snigdharag Rag Bhujan, a girl from Assam’s Guwahati suffering from serious respiratory problem was shifted to Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital after a request was made to the state government on Sunday. His father, a farmer had to spend more than he had already at the Apollo Hospital for which the Assam government had paid 2 lakh so far. The serious condition of the baby has been a ladder of chaos for the poor boy baby’s family. His family releases press note and told about his condition.

He was later shifted to Delhi’s Ganga Ram Hospital via Ambulance with the help of Police and locals.
Here’s what happened:
A request was first made by Twitter handle to help the family of the ill fated on 31 September at 4:00 pm after which they were contacted.
After being contacted it was developed that the baby boy has been suffering from a chronic breathing problem.

He was admitted in Guwahati’s Apollo Hospital where he was consulted to be shifted to Delhi’s AIIMS..
The baby boy needed better attention and was consulted to be shifted at Delhi’s AIIMS or Ganga Ram Hospital from Guwhati.
Beds were not available in AIIMS so he was shifted to Ganga Ram Hospital at once in an Air Ambulance.
Snigdharag’s father, a farmer had to take loan of Rs 2.5 lakh and collected Rs 3 lakh in donation from the locals in Assam to bare the expenses of an Air Ambulance.
A permission for Green Corridor later permitted by the Commissioner of Police Hiren Chandra Nath from Guwhati to the relatives of the girl. She even accompanied the girl to the Airport from the Hospital.
Assam’s Deputy Resident Commissioner Tapas Dey , who is also in Delhi received his at the Airport on September 3.

However, Several requests have been made to the Assam government to help assist the family with money to continue the over-expensive treatment , but none has been answered yet.
Apollo Hospital of Guwahati have returned Rs 40,000 saying they have overcharged it.
While, Commissioner of Police Hiren Chandra Nath handed over two envelopes containing Rs 25,000 each to Snigdharag’s family while leaving for Delhi.
Snigdharag reached Delhi on 3rd September for further treatment.
