Lok Sabha elections 2019 will be announced at 5 pm
The Election Commission has convened a press conference on Sunday (today) at five o’clock in the evening. The dates for the Lok Sabha election can be announced in this press conference. If this happens then the Election Code of Conduct will be implemented from today.
- Lok Sabha elections are likely to be in seven to eight phases in April-May.
- There is a complete possibility that the Commission can do the Vidhan Sabha elections of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, like the old tradition, along with the Lok Sabha elections.
- Election Commission will hold a press conference at Vigyan Bhawan at 5 pm.
- Once the voting dates are announced, the Model Code of Conduct will be implemented.
Term of the current Lok Sabha will end on June 3
Term of the current Lok Sabha is ending on June 3. Indian Election Commission (ECI) will announce the dates of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which is likely to spread in seven to eight phases in April-May. Election Commission will hold a press conference at Vigyan Bhawan at 5 pm today.
- Election Commission is likely to announce the dates for assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, according to various media reports.
- Conduct will be applicable as soon as the voting codes are announced by the Election Code.
- The Lok Sabha elections are expected to begin on 2019 April 10 and end on May 15.
- Term of the current Lok Sabha is ending on June 3.
Notification for the first phase can be issued by the end of March
April, sources suggested. Essential electronic voting machines and paper trail machines are deployed in about 10 lakh polling stations in 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. There is a possibility of elections in seven to eight steps this time.
- The Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly has been dissolved,
- so the commission is bound to hold fresh elections here even within a period of six months ending in May.
- It is an opinion that Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections will be held with the Lok Sabha elections,
- but India- Due to increasing tension on the Pakistan border, decision will be taken keeping in view the complex security situation of the state.
Lok Sabha elections may be held in UP in six phases
Once the election program is announced, the Model Code of Conduct will be used throughout the country. Five to six phases of UP are going to be held in the polls.
- Since the holy month of Ramadan is also starting from May 4,
- it is expected that most of the elections will be dealt with in March and April.
Elections for first and second phase are expected this month
- First phase of the LOS elections in the state is expected to be in the first week of April.
- In each phase, 10 days are nominated for nomination and 15 days are for campaigning.
- In this regard, a one-phase election schedule can be prepared every week starting from the first week of April.
- The first and second phase elections in the state are expected to be started this month.
