PUBG Claims Another Life! Mumbai Boy Commits Suicide After He Was Told to Stop Playing.

Mumbai, October 17: A teenager from a tribal family in Dahanu hanged himself after he was told to stop playing PUBG and instead concentrate on his studies. The teenager had passed his class 12 exams and his father worked in a flour mill. The owner of the flour mill, Chirag Mehta had taken the responsibility to educate the teenager. However, he had quit his studies.

Mehta complained that the boy was addicted to PUBG and used to be up late in the night playing the game. On the day when he committed suicide, Mehta told him to stop playing PUBG, he complained of uneasiness and went to his room. Hours later he was found hanging with no suicide note found near him.

Several incidences of students ending lives after being denied to play PUBG has gone up in the past few months. In February, an 18-year-old allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself after he had an argument with his family members over buying a new mobile phone for playing PUBG game.

In April this year, A Class 10 boy in Telangana allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday after his parents scolded him for playing the online multiplayer game- PUBG. Reportedly, the 10th standard student took the extreme step of ending his life after his parents got into an argument with him for not preparing for SSC exams and continuously playing the PUBG game.
