अकबरपुर लोकसभा ( Akbarpur Lok Sabha ) निर्वाचन क्षेत्र उत्तर प्रदेश की 80 लोकसभा सीटों में से 44वीं लोकसभा सीट है। अकबरपुर कानपुर देहात जिले का मुख्यालय है।  यह क्षेत्र उद्योग की दृष्टि से काफी विकसित है। यहां की एक बड़ी आबादी कृषि से जुडी हुई है।

गंगा और यमुना के मध्य दोआब में बसे अकबरपुर सीट राजनीतिक रूप से एक दौर में कांग्रेस का मजबूत गढ़ हुआ करता था। 90 के दशक में कांग्रेस में नेहरू-गांधी परिवार के खिलाफ बगावत करने वाले अरुण नेहरू ने जनता दल से मैदान में उतरकर जीत हासिल की थी। बाद में ये इलाका बीजेपी के लिए काफी उपजाऊ साबित हुआ।

अकबरपुर में उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा की पांच सीटें आती है जिनमें से अकबरपुर रानिया, बिठूर, कल्याणपुर, महाराजापुर और घाटमपुर(अ.जा.) शामिल है।
