Meet Aditya Sharma,A Popular& Visionary Personality Among Young Indian Social Activists!

 

The year 2019 was genuinely a demonstration of the force of youth in initiating social change. Be it Greta Thunberg’s motivating discourse at the UN against climate change, or the Parkland shooting survivors pushing for more noteworthy weapon control, this is the era of young activists. In the soul of things, it is worthy to take note of a few of the young social activists in our nation such as Aditya Sharma, a patriotic youth with a vision to reform the nation.

Even in modern times and a developing country like ours, social activism appears to be deeply rooted in the youth. Young individuals like Aditya Sharma are keeping social activism alive at a young and ripe age of 21 years. Aditya hails from Narsinghpur, a small town in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Right from a young age, he demonstrated the qualities of being a person who is keen to help others. He always helped his classmates in getting all the academic-related stuff such as books, school dresses, etc., and his parents always supported him in his good deeds. This quality of selflessness and passion to help others led him on the path of social activism.

Today, he is the State co-convener social media at Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (Madhya Bharat). He has also founded organizations such as Givebharat Social Welfare Foundation and Bharat Youth Forum aimed to help the needy and the students in distress. Despite his young age, he is truly extraordinary. His mindset is very diverse and he is empathetic.

Before being inducted into the ABVP, Aditya never shied away from working as a youth student activist to empower local students in making their voices and opinions heard. He embraces the quality of patriotism and doesn’t wear flashy suits despite being hard-working, determined, and passionate. He acts as unhinged support for students facing injusticeand ensures they get what they truly deserve. Aditya always tries his best to help students and those in need in all possible ways that he can use.

Recently, around 250 BTech students studying in the final year started a sit-in on the premises of MANIT (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology) located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The demand behind the sit-in was to get sufficient consideration for theinternships that the students were enrolled in. Also, they believed that no student should be forced to appear for the NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) course examination. When Aditya came to know of this, he along with a few other ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) activists joined the protest and have taken it to themselves that justice is done for the students of the college.

Besides, as an active member of the ABVP, Aditya has always demonstrated an eagerness to keep the youth safe from negative influences. He has been the face ofseveral seminars, talks with youngsters and has always tried to steer the youth away from bad habits such as addictions to alcohol, drugs, and gambling. He has even protected many from being abused on the internet and being a subject to online crimes. His work during the COVID-19 times is truly inspiring. He worked directly on the frontlines to provide 10,000+ people with aid such as food packets, medical supplies such as Remdesivir, oxygen cylinders, and face masks.

Aditya’s humble yet helping naturehas shot him to fame in his college and across the nation as well. He is now being seen as a rising politician and visionary young social activist in the nation. To him, social work is his first responsibility and the true reward in his life.
