Lucknow, Cyber Space When someone disagrees with our point of view, people start to resort to trolling to protest. In today’s era trolling has become a weapon of harassment. Some such things came out during the discussion of the Cafe Talk organized by the Breakthrough organization.
In the Breakthrough’s Cafe Talk discussion, people shared their thoughts on women’s safety in the context of safe space.
- From the breakthrough organization, Anika said that while on the social media, people see online space and real life as a different place.
- False advantage of free speech is also taken online, and people do not think the type of loss is being caused by someone else.
- When a girl is trailing online with her family, her family snatches her phone but nobody says anything to the online exploiters.
Cyber Security Expert,Anil Tiwari shared his views:
- Cyber Security Expert Anil Tiwari said that today trolling has become a big business.
- Most people trolling for a few pennies in which they benefit from some 5 to 6 thousand rupees.
- It works in an organized group and suffers from inferiority complexity.
- This is probably the reason why when there is a trolling on an issue, then all the groups come together and start bothering.
- If someone harasses you, firstly file your complaint on government women helpline like 1090 etc.
- Apart from this, keep all screenshots in the form of evidence and file an FIR if necessary.
RJ Harshita also shared her views:
- She said while talking to her fans on social media often she has seen that people trolling to draw attention to themselves so that we get angry and we can tell them something wrong in anger.
- Harshita also said that such people should not pay attention and even if this problem continues, they should be blocked.
- From ground level to harassment to social media, we must not tolerate any form of harassment.
- We have to come forward together to create a safe environment in society and have to walk with everyone.
Mala shared her personal experience with the breakthrough that, in the present time, if anyone persecuted you, then with immediate effect, we should take action against such things and it has been seen that people will hear such legal action. Therefore, it is necessary to oppose any such move.

- Apart from this, we have to move forward as a group so that more awareness can be spread about this problem.
