Classical Voice of India 2022 comes back in its physical form on Lucknow from 8-10 December 2022, after a hiatus of two years due to Covid pandemic. In the years 2020 & 2021, the entire competition was held online.
We have had online auditions from all over the country with participants sending in their video performances. However live auditions were held in Delhi-NCR, Kolkata, Agartala and Bhubaneshwar due to popular demand,
Total number of Finalists in Grand Finals of Classical Voice of India 2019 are nearly 100, while the participants from all over were more than 150,
Grand Finals of Classical Voice of India witness the assembling of powerhouse of talent from across the length and breadth of the country. There are several trophies and cash prizes given to incentivize and enthuse the young talent who come from near and far.
While the competition shall be inaugurated by Swami Muktinathananda ji, Secretary, Ram Krishna Mission Lucknow at 12 noon on 8th December 2022, Padma Shri Malini Awasthi, renowned folk singer of Lucknow, shall be the Chief Guest for the Prize Distribution ceremony on 10 December, 2022 at 10.30 am.
