Get ready for the underworld filled with drugs, evil souls, cops and one pissed off but dedicated Bloody Daddy aka Shahid Kapoor.

Helmed by Abbas Ali Zafar, the film promises to be an out-and-out actioner. It also marks Shahid’s first collaboration with the director. The film also stars Diana Penty, Sanjay Kapoor, and Ronit Roy.

In the teaser, Shahid Kapoor is seen flaunting a dapper suit and sharp haircut, and he is pissed off to a point where nothing stand in his way, he is chopping, shooting and punching the day lights of everyone.

Bloody Daddy is reportedly the official Indian adaptation of the French-language film Nuit Blanche or Sleepless Night. The original has previously been adapted as a Tamil-language film led by Kamal Haasan titled Thoongaa Vanam (2015).

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Farzi in which he plays an artist who goes on to produce counterfeit currency. The actor is also attached to star in a currently untitled film with Kriti Sanon and Dharmendra.

Bloody Daddy is slated for 9th June 2023 release.
