Three-day long KVS Regional Sports meet, Kabaddi, under-14 and under-19 Girls ended in a sparkling closing ceremony at Kandriya Vidyalaya Gomti nagar on 28 April.

Three-day long KVS Regional Sports meet, Kabaddi, under-14 and under-19 Girls ended in a sparkling closing ceremony at Kandriya Vidyalaya Gomti nagar on 28 April. Mrs. Saroj Sachan, the Principal of the Vidyalaya was the chief Guest of the closing ceremony.
Earlier the final match of under-14 girls was played between KV Shivgarh and KV Iffco Bareilly in which KV Shivgarh registered an easy win. KV Cantt Lucknow secured the third position.
The final of Under-19 girls was played between Kandriya Vidyalaya Cantt Lucknow and it was a real nail biter.

The girls of Kandriya Vidyalaya Cantt Lucknow kept their head in crunch moments to bag the prestigious trophy. The third position was grabbed by Kandriya Vidyalaya Memora.
In her concluding speech Mrs. Saroj Sachan wished the winner good luck and motivated them to keep their eyes glued on the ultimate goal of winning gold medal in the National Sports Meet.
At the end of the meet 24 girls from both the categories were selected for the Summer Coaching Camp which will be held during the summer vacation.
