Lecture & Presentation by Prof.Shukla Sawant of Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi,was held on 8th August, 2018 at College of Arts and Crafts, Lucknow University.
Presentation At Lucknow University:
- The Program was inaugurated br Dr.Ratan Kumar by honouring Prof.Shukla Sawant with bouquets.
- In addition,Shri.Alok Kumar welcomed all the guests and students.
- Prof.Shukla Sawant discussed many things about the art with students.
- Furthermore,she also appreciated all the work and arts done by the students.
Prof.Shukla Sawant:
- Shukla Sawant is a visual artist and currently Professor of Visual Studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics at JNU,New Delhi.
- Shukla Sawant is a founder member of the Indian Printmakers Guild.
- Also, serves occasionally as a visiting lecturer and faculty member at the Delhi College of Art and the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi.

- Shukla worked as a teacher and lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts and Art Education at the Jamia Milia Islamia in New Delhi from 1989 – 2001.
- And is currently Associate Professor at the School of Art & Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
- Even though she spent much of her career studying and mastering various media and techniques.
- In addition,Sawant several group shows and collectives on national and international levels like the Ljubljana, Bradford and Norway biennales.
- Very active in the field of collaborative artist led initiatives.
- Furthermore,Sawant was also a member of the working group as well as a participating artist in the 1998 Khoj program, which brings together artists from several different countries for a set of workshops and lecture programs each year.
