Air Force Station Memaura organized Tree Plantation Drive recently. All the Station personnel along with their families participated in this drive. More than 1000 saplings of various varities of trees were planted in a three hour long plantation drive. The event was inaugurated by introducing the need and importance of tree plantation drive to the Station personnel by Gp Capt AS Minhas, Station Commander, Air Force Station, Memaura.
Tree Plantation Drive:
Mrs. Anupama Minhas President AFWWA (Local), Gp Capt RC Tamang, Chief Admin Officer, Air Force Station, Memaura were also present for the event along with other distinguished guests. Twenty Five students from Kendriya Vidyalay Air Force Memaura also participated in this noble cause.
In addition,Air Force Memaura pledged to create a greener and cleaner environment and contribute towards the national objective of green and clean India.
