In the ‘Tarantaal’ stadium of 35th vahini PAC at Mahanagar area Lucknow, UP police inaugurated the annual swimming and cross country competition 2018. The event started in totally a colorful manner. After taking the grand March-Past salute equipped with colorful costumes, they started the 57th annual swimming and Cross Country competition.

This annual cross country contest was inaugurated by IPS Office R. K. Vishwakarma (PAC Uttar Pradesh) along with Jai Narayan Singh, Inspector General of Police, PAC UP A. Satish Ganesh, PAC Central Zone UP Lucknow, Praveen Kumar, Organizing Secretary and Deputy Inspector General of Police, PAC Lucknow Anubhag, Assistant Synonyms 35th Duct PAC and Jata Shankar Mishra, Regional Police Sportsman / Assistant Chief of the Army, Cynical 35th duct PAC MayaRam Verma , 35th duct PAC Shrikant Tewari and 35th duct PAC Manoj Singh Shivirpal.
In this cross country competition approximately 375 players participated from 11 Zone of UP Police. PAC Central Zone was hosting this 57th annual swimming and Cross Country Contest. The central Zone PAC caption took oath on the behalf of all participating players to play with honest sport person spirit.
Respected Inspector General of Police, PAC gave a new shadow to the stadium by leaving the colorful balloons in all directions. In the beginning, the students of Police Modern School get felicitated. Children of Police Modern School Gomti Nagar Police Department, who were winners in the national and international sports competitions, got felicitated by Chief Guest of the contest.
On the occasion of inauguration ceremony, Uttar Pradesh Police officials and sports lovers of Lucknow were present in large numbers.

2. 200 Meter medal (final)
First Position: Ram Prakash Rana, Lucknow Zone 03ः10.05 sec.
Second Position: Deepak Nishad (Varanashi Zone) 03ः15.29 sec.
Third Position: Sumeshwar Prasad 03ः15.76 sec.
3. 200 Meter Butterfly Final
