85TH Anniversary of Indian Air Force celebrated at Air force station BKT. 

Indian Air Force celebrates its 85 th anniversary on 08 Oct 2017. The
celebrations were spread out over a fortnight and apart from the traditional. Oath taking ceremony by all the Air Warriors to renew their commitments towards “Service to the Nation”, a number of other events were organized.

Motivating the men in uniforms:

• These events included Quiz Competitions for Air Warriors and school students,
• Tea parties for, “Veer Narees” (Widows of deceased Air Force Personnel)
• and families of serving personnel, and medical camp for ladies of Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT).
• Station Commander Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab, Group Captain J Suares,
• addressed the men in uniform on the occasion and urged them to continue
• to put their best foot forward towards enhancing operational preparedness and rapid readiness to face any challenges that the nation may face.
• Furthermore, he emphasized that owing to the countries growing stature, we have to be prepared for multi spectrum operations.
• He also brought to notice the importance of this airbase not only during
• any operational commitments but also in undertaking HADR Operations, be it calamities or aid to Civil Administrations.
• In addition, he also took opportunity to pay tribute to our veterans and
• acknowledge their outstanding contribution in reaching its glorious 85 th year of Indian Air Force.
