Cycle rally-Yoga and Plantation Organised by 63 UP BN NCC University of Lucknow “ Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotasav ”

A long cycle rally expedition of Assam Rifles under the program Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was welcomed by 63 UP BN NCC at University of Lucknow.

This Cycle rally commenced from Shillong and would culminate at Rajghat New Delhi.

The event is being conducted to mark the occasion of 75th years of Independence as part of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ programme .

The cycle rally would transit through prominent cities, towns and villages of five States by visiting places of historical importance for spreading the message of peace and national integration.

The rally is led by Major Sudan Pritam and Captain Ravi Rana.

The cycle rally which started from Shillong on 5th September 2021 reached Lucknow on 22nd.

The team was welcomed at University of Lucknow by Col Sumit Puri and Adm officer Col P.P. Kishore, Associate NCC officers Maj Rajesh Shukla and Capt Kiran Lata Dangwal, PI Staff and cadets of 63 UP BN, NCC, University of Lucknow.

On this occasion under the guidance of Yoga Teacher Dr. Umesh Shukla Cadets and Officers did yoga.

Tree plantation was also organised at Shivaji ground of the University of Lucknow.

The event was very well received and was very motivating to the Cadets.
