Be that as it may, we do give, in bunch ways. Possibly it’s assisting a relative who need cash, or paying to teach the offspring of somebody who works for you, or volunteering time to associations that serve the destitute.
It could even be loaning your voice to help and proselytize noble motivations. There is, to put it plainly, plentiful will to give, however maybe insufficient supported and economical channels.
That was the idea behind a basic activity that began in 2009.It was arranged as a day of giving. However it worked out that a few people had time free just on weekdays, and others on ends of the week, and in the long run it turned into the Joy of Giving Week, celebrated from October 2 to 9, toward the begin of India’s merry season and agreeing with Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday.
- It later changed its name to Daan Utsav, to contact more individuals, yet the ‘delight of giving’ is still piece of its personality.
- On the second day of the Daan Utsav , a number of activities were carried out.
- These activities were conducted by different organisations but with the central idea of helping others and bringing smile on everyone’s face.
- These organisations were Inner wheel circle Prerna, Team with A Dream,LIVE ,Eeshwar Child Welfare Foundation and Empower Skill Foundation.
